Why do these things always seem to happen to me?
I knew my Saturday had started badly. I decided to trim my toenails and so had just fitted a fresh 6” carborundum cutting disk to my Black & Decker. I switched it on but had left the damned thing on hammer by mistake. It instantly shook all the fillings out of my teeth.
Memsahib wasn't very sympathetic either.
"You never learn do you?" She yelled at me.
"Yes I do."
"What!?"
"I've learned never to cut my toenails at the week-end. My dentist is on the golf course until Monday!"
I’ve finished manicuring now.
For the day anyway.
