OK, OK. I accept what Memsahib says. Maybe I did put a little weight on over the festive period. That's what 'Festive' means though isn't it?
Nothing has changed here in our little community in the Rance Valley. Despite the doom and gloom over the economy everyone has managed to present the usual round of back to back parties and dinners.
Went to another last night. Posh do. Jacket and tie job. Problem being I couldn't find one that fitted me anymore. Tie that is. I didn't get as far as the jacket!
I've finished dieting now.
For the day anyway.
